Sharron Mirsky is an independent animator, illustrator and film director based in Montreal, CanadaShe animates in a variety of techniques and media such as charcoal, watercolour crayon, paint, plasticine-on-glass, paper cut-outs, stop motion and 2D digital animation.
Traces
A woman is struck by glimpses of her childhood; tiny moments of becoming, which only become less clear as she tries to hold onto them. Traces is an exploration of how memory lives in the body, how it inhabits the spaces we move through, and a reflection on the attention we pay to ordinary moments.
